I will share these pictures here whilst I research further on this truly magnificent art work.
But for now:
The Koshirae is signed as Otsuryūken Miboku which is an art name, I believe the work is most likely Hamano tree, more research to do but Hamano Shozui’s signed this way and the work is consistent with papered examples.
As you can see it also has a very well executed Bishamonten horimono.
I have had some nice swords in my time as a collector but this one has something to enjoy in every single millimeter of both the blade and every piece that accompanies it.
