6th Generation kinmichi Wakizashi in Handachi mounts with Tokubetsu Hozon.
The mei reads: Iga no Kami Fujiwara Kinmichi (伊賀守藤原金道). The inscription on omote of Nakago reads: Raijo gyoken mo te do tetsu tsukuru which means – Made using same iron as the shrine offering sword dedicated to warding off lightning. This was something the first generation did on his swords.
The sword has many fine features to enjoy, from the well made Horimono to the lovely flowing Hamon.
This sword also comes with a very nice set of Handachi style Koshirae and sword bags for both shirasaya and Koshirae.
One point to note is that the Shirasaya glue is starting to fail in some places. It is not an immediate concern but it may need rice glue to fix in future
