This Tanto is signed Bizen Osafune something Mitsu, maybe Yasumitsu, needs confirming. The Fuchi is signed Omori Tatsunobu, the kugitana signed Ikeda Kishinmaru Kunishige.
The blade has a tight Itame Hada and lovely fine Hamon, it is of Unokubi Zukuri construction. As well as the stunning blade, it has high quality specifically made mounts. All parts of the Koshirae are high quality: from the lovely red ribbed saya with water dragon, the beautifully wrapped Tsuka fitted with dragon menuki to the Ryo dragon Tsuba and Omori signed wave theme Fuchi/Kashira, this Tanto has it all, lots of high quality work to research.
