Mumei Katana with Large Sori in Koshirae

Despite some cosmetic imperfections like stains and scratches, this sword is overall in solid condition.
It has a strong Suguha style straight Hamon with fine Nie activities and  a cleanly forged tight Jigane.

Though not a very long blade, it has a quite large Sori curvature with a measurement of ~1.8cm.

The Koshirae is overall in solid condition, the Tsuba is a decent iron Sukashi Tsuba depicting a crane by a river and the silver foiled Habaki is well decorated. The only small issues are that the Fuchi is slightly wider than the Tsuka and the saya has some small areas of repair to the Urushi.

The temptation is for me to keep this a while longer, get it polished and have saya restored and Tsuka re-wrapped. It is a good sword as it is but would be fantastic with a little investment.
