Koto period Wakizashi in Shirasaya attributed to Uda
This blade was submitted to NBTHk Shinsa and passed Hozon, but unfortunately the original paper was lost, I only have a photocopy so its being sold as no origami. This Wakizashi has plenty of Nie and Sunagashi activities to enjoy in the Hamon, the Kissaki and the Boshi. A well forged Koto sword in fantastic polish with lots of activity to enjoy.
It is said the Uda school was founded by Yamato smith Kunimitsu, the Uda school was famous for producing practically designed blades, which were desirable during Nanbokucho and Muromachi periods.
